25- وتطبيقاً لما نص عليه المقرر 10/م أ-3، يرد في الوثيقة ICCD/CRIC(4)/4 تقرير المدير العام للآلية العالمية الذي أُعد استجابةً لأحكام الاتفاقية ولمقررات مؤتمر الأطراف ذات الصلة.

42. Prior to COP 10, the appointment of the GM Managing Director was governed by the provisions set out in the MOU between the COP and IFAD, as approved by the COP through its decision 10/COP.3.
42- قبل الدورة العاشرة لمؤتمر الأطراف كان المدير العام للآلية العالمية يُعيَّن وفقاً للأحكام المبينة في مذكرة التفاهم بين مؤتمر الأطراف والصندوق الدولي للتنمية الزراعية، والتي أقرها مؤتمر الأطراف في مقرره 10/م أ-3.

41. The secretariat has taken a number of steps since COP 10 to ensure the continuity of services of the GM in respect of human resources, including (i) clarification of the required United Nations recruitment procedures applicable to the GM Managing Director and staff; (ii) the appointment of the GM Managing Director, and (iii) GM staff.
41- اتخذت الأمانة منذ الدورة العاشرة لمؤتمر الأطراف عدداً من الخطوات المتعلقة بالموارد البشرية لضمان استمرارية خدمات الآلية، ويشمل ذلك المسائل التالية: `1` توضيح إجراءات التوظيف المعمول بها في الأمم المتحدة والمنطبقة على المدير العام للآلية العالمية وعلى موظفيها؛ `2` تعيين المدير العام للآلية العالمية؛ `3`موظفو الآلية العالمية.
