The Economic and Social Council decides to request the Secretary-General of the Conference, in preparing documentation for the Conference, to be guided by the views expressed by delegations and other participants at the second session of the Preparatory Committee for the International Conference on Population and Development and to take into account the Chairman's summary annexed to the present decision.
يقرر المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي أن يطلب إلى اﻷمين العام للمؤتمر أن يسترشد، في إعداد وثائق المؤتمر باﻵراء التي أعربت عنها الوفود وسائر المشتركين في الدورة الثانية للجنة التحضيرية للمؤتمر الدولي المعني بالسكان والتنمية مع مراعاة الموجز الذي قدمه الرئيس، المرفق بهذا المقرر.

The General Assembly, in accordance with paragraph 6 of its resolution 46/220 of 20 December 1991, approves the biennial programme of work of the Fifth Committee for 1999–2000, annexed to the present decision.
تقرر الجمعية العامة، وفقا للفقرة ٦ من قرارها ٤٦/٢٢٠ المؤرخ ٢٠ كانون اﻷول/ ديسمبر ١٩٩١، برنامج عمل اللجنة الخامسة لفترة السنتين ١٩٩٩ - ٢٠٠٠، المرفق بهذا المقرر.

1. Adopts the work programme of the Open-ended Working Group for 2009 - 2011 contained in the annex to the present decision;
1 - يعتمد برنامج عمل الفريق العامل المفتوح العضوية لفترة السنوات الثلاث 2009 - 2011 الوارد في المرفق بهذا المقرر.

1. Adopts provisionally the text annexed to this decision as the " Interim Partnership Work Programme " ;

Decides to adopt the financial rules attached to the present decision.
يقرر اعتماد مشروع القواعد المالية المرفق بهذا المقرر.

The General Assembly, in accordance with paragraph 6 of its resolution 46/220 of 20 December 1991, approves the biennial programme of work for the Fifth Committee for 1996-1997, annexed hereto.
قررت الجمعية العامة، وفقا للفقرة ٦ من قرارها ٤٦/٢٢٠ المؤرخ ٢٠ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩١، أن توافق على برنامج عمل اللجنة الخامسة لفترة السنتين ١٩٩٦-١٩٩٧، المرفق بهذا المقرر.

Adopts the modalities and procedures for [project activities in the sectors contained in Annex A of the Protocol under] the clean development mechanism contained in the annex to this decision on modalities and procedures;
2- يعتمد طرائق وإجراءات [مشاريع الأنشطة في القطاعات التي يتضمنها المرفق ألف بالبروتوكول في إطار] آلية التنمية النظيفة الواردة في المرفق بهذا المقرر المتعلق بالطرائق والإجراءات؛

3. Recommends that the secretariat implement the text attached to this decision as the strategy for UNCTAD's technical cooperation activities, taking into account the ideas contained in the note on capacity development (TD/B/50/9-TD/B/WP/168);
3 - يوصي الأمانة بتنفيذ ما جاء في النص المرفق بهذا المقرر باعتباره نص استراتيجية الأونكتاد لأنشطة التعـاون التقني، على أن تضع في الاعتبار الأفكار الواردة في المذكرة التي أعدت بشأن تنميـة القـدرات (TD/B/50/9-TD/B/WP/168)؛

The General Conference approved the contract annexed to the present decision establishing the terms and conditions of appointment of the Director-General, including the salary and emoluments attached to the office.
