• Annex D to the Convention

Examine the proposal, apply the screening criteria specified in Annex D to the Convention and complete an evaluation as to whether the proposal has fulfilled those criteria;
' 1` أن تدرس المقترح، وتطبق معايير الفرز المحددة في المرفق دال بالاتفاقية وتستكمل تقييماً بشأن ما إذا كان الاقتراح يستوفي تلك المعايير؛

At that meeting, the Committee established a contact group to consider the information provided in the proposal and determine whether it fulfilled the criteria of Annex D to the Convention.
2 - وفي ذلك الاجتماع أنشأت اللجنة فريق اتصال للنظر في المعلومات المقدمة في الاقتراح وتحديد ما إذا كانت تستوفي معايير المرفق دال بالاتفاقية.

In prioritizing chemicals for assessment, the criteria of bioaccumulation (B) and persistence (P) (criteria (c) and (b) of Annex D to the Convention) were used.
7 - وعند تحديد أولويات المواد الكيميائية من أجل التقييم، تم استخدام معياري التراكم البيولوجي (B) ومقاومة التحلل (P) (أي المعياران (ج) و(ب) في المرفق دال بالاتفاقية).

3. The proposal was evaluated in the light of the requirements of Annex D to the Convention regarding the identification of the chemical (paragraph 1 (a)) and the screening criteria (paragraphs 1 (b) - (e)):
3 - تم تقييم المقترح في ضوء معايير المرفق دال بالاتفاقية المتعلقة بتحديد هوية المادة الكيميائية (الفقرة 1 (أ))، ومعايير الفرز (الفقرات 1 (ب) - (هـ)).

In prioritizing chemicals for assessment, the criteria of bioaccumulation (B) and persistence (P) (criteria (c) and (b) of Annex D to the Convention) were used.
7 - وعند تحديد أولويات المواد الكيميائية من أجل التقييم، تم استخدام معياري التراكم البيولوجي (B) ومقاومة التحلل (P) (أي المعياران (ج) و (ب) في المرفق دال بالاتفاقية).

In assessing potential alternatives that are suitable substitutes for POPs, it should be confirmed that an alternative does not lead to the use of other chemicals that have the properties of POPs as defined by the criteria in Annex D to the Convention.
17 - ولدى تقييم بدائل محتملة تعتبر مواد بديلة مناسبة للملوثات العضوية الثابتة ينبغي التأكيد من أن أي بديل لا يؤدي إلى استخدام مواد كيميائية أخرى لها نفس خواص الملوثات العضوية الثابتة حسب ما تحدده المعايير في المرفق دال بالاتفاقية.

The Committee concluded (decision POPRC-1/7) that the information on PFOS presented met the screening criteria specified in Annex D to the Convention.
وقد خلصت اللجنة (مقرر لجنة استعراض الملوثات العضوية الثابتة - 1/7) إلى أن المعلومات المقدمة عن سلفونات البيرفلوروكتان مستوفية لمعايير الفرز المحددة في المرفق دال بالاتفاقية.

The chair of the contact and drafting groups reported that several rounds of discussion had yielded some progress but no consensus on whether the substance fulfilled the four screening criteria of Annex D to the Convention.
86 - وأفاد رئيس فريق الاتصال وفريق الصياغة بأنّ عدة جولات من المناقشات أثمرت بعض التقدّم، لكن لم يتم التوصل إلى توافق في الآراء بشأن ما إذا كانت المادة تستوفي معايير الفرز الأربعة الواردة في المرفق دال بالاتفاقية.

In assessing each potential alternative to persistent organic pollutants, it should be confirmed that the alternative does not lead to the use of other chemicals that have the properties of persistent organic pollutants as defined by the criteria in Annex D to the Convention (UNEP/POPS/POPRC.5/10/Add.1).
17 - ولدى تقييم كل بديل محتمل للملوثات العضوية الثابتة ينبغي التأكد من أن أي بديل لا يؤدي إلى استخدام مواد كيميائية أخرى لها نفس خواص الملوثات العضوية الثابتة حسب ما تحدده المعايير في المرفق دال بالاتفاقية (UNEP/POPS/POPRC.5/10/Add.1).

In assessing each potential alternative to persistent organic pollutants, it should be confirmed that the alternative does not lead to the use of other chemicals that have the properties of persistent organic pollutants as defined by the criteria in Annex D to the Convention (UNEP/POPS/POPRC.5/10/Add.1).
17- ولدى تقييم كل بديل محتمل للملوثات العضوية الثابتة ينبغي التأكد من أن أي بديل لا يؤدي إلى استخدام مواد كيميائية أخرى لها نفس خواص الملوثات العضوية الثابتة حسب ما تحدده المعايير في المرفق دال بالاتفاقية (UNEP/POPS/POPRC.5/10/Add.1).

Depending on the screening category in which they had been placed in the prioritization step, the alternatives to PFOS, its salts and PFOSF were further assessed and assigned to one of the four classes based on their likelihood to meet all the criteria in Annex D to the Convention.
8 - واعتماداً على فئة الفرز التي وضعت فيها البدائل في خطوة تحديد الأولوية، أجري مزيد من التقييم لبدائل تلك المواد المذكورة حامض السلفونيك البيرفلوروكتاني وأملاحه وفلوريد السلفونيل البيرفلوروكتاني ونُسَبَت إلى واحدة من الفئات الأربع استناداً إلى احتمال استيفائها لجميع المعايير الواردة في المرفق دال بالاتفاقية.
