وقد كشفت بالكامل التطورات الأخيرة عن الذرائع الاعتباطية والواهية والقائمة على سوء النية التي استخدمتها إسرائيل مرارا وتكرارا لتبرير الإجراءات غير القانونية التي اتخذت كجزء من الحملة الاستيطانية، التي ترمي بوضوح إلى ضم المزيد من الأراضي الفلسطينية بحكم الواقع وتكريس احتلالها غير المشروع للأرض الفلسطينية، بما فيها القدس الشرقية.

The international community, including the Security Council, must urgently act to address these dangerous illegal actions by Israel, the occupying Power, to obstruct and bury peace efforts before they even begin only to further entrench its illegitimate occupation of the Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and to de facto annex even more Palestinian land.
إن المجتمع الدولي، بما فيه مجلس الأمن، لا بد أن يتخذ إجراءات عاجلة للتصدي لهذه الأعمال غير القانونية والخطيرة التي تقوم بها إسرائيل، السلطة القائمة بالاحتلال، من أجل عرقلة جهود السلام ووأدها قبل أن تُستهل، لا لشيء إلا لترسيخ احتلالها غير المشروع للأرض الفلسطينية بما فيها القدس الشرقية وضم المزيد من الأراضي الفلسطينية بحكم الواقع.

In this regard, I must draw your attention specifically to the ongoing acts of violence and terror being perpetrated against the Palestinian civilian population by Israeli settlers, illegally transferred to the Occupied Territory and clearly constituting part of the occupying force, in order to advance its attempts to illegally de facto annex more Palestinian land.
وفي هذا الصدد، لا بد لي من أن ألفت انتباهكم بوجه خاص إلى أعمال العنف والترهيب المستمرة التي تُرتكب ضد السكان المدنيين الفلسطينيين على أيدي المستوطنين الإسرائيليين الذين نُقلوا بطريقة غير قانونية إلى الأرض المحتلة ويشكلون بلا شك جزءا من قوة الاحتلال، من أجل تعزيز مساعيها غير القانونية لضم المزيد من الأراضي الفلسطينية بحكم الأمر الواقع.

The occupying force is gradually taking greater control over more Palestinian land, following the planned map of settlement and the by-pass road construction which aim at ensuring the continuous rule of Israel, both directly over the confiscated land which was declared " State land " , and indirectly by encircling almost every single Palestinian community by settlements and " fire areas " or military training grounds.
