ويطلب أيضا مشروع القرار A/53/L.58 إلى اﻷمين العام، والوكالات المتخصصة وسائر مؤسسات منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة تقديم المساعدة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية وغيرها من المساعدات إلى الأقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي.

15. Requests the Secretary-General, the specialized agencies and other organizations of the United Nations system to provide economic, social and other assistance to the Non-Self-Governing Territories and to continue to do so, as appropriate, after they exercise their right to self-determination, including independence;
15 - تطلب إلى الأمين العام والوكالات المتخصصة والمؤسسات الأخرى في منظومة الأمم المتحدة تقديم المساعدات الاقتصادية والاجتماعية وغيرها من المساعدات إلى الأقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي ومواصلة تقديم تلك المساعدات، حسب الاقتضاء، بعد أن تمارس تلك الأقاليم حقها في تقرير المصير، بما فيه الاستقلال؛

16. Finally, the draft resolution requests the Secretary-General, the specialized agencies and other organizations of the United Nations system to provide economic, social and other assistance to the Non-Self-Governing Territories and to continue to do so, as appropriate, after they exercise their right to self-determination, including independence.
