وأكد مجددا قرار المجلس 2008/36 بشأن تعزيز تنسيق المساعدة الإنسانية التي تقدمها منظومة الأمم المتحدة في حالات الطوارئ على الحاجة إلى تعميم مراعاة المنظور الجنساني في عمليات المساعدة الإنسانية بطريقة شاملة ومتسقة، وأحاط علما بالسياسة المستكملة التي تتبعها اللجنة الدائمة المشتركة بين الوكالات بشأن المساواة بين الجنسين في الأعمال المتعلقة بالشؤون الإنسانية.
