٣٤ - وأعرب بعض الممثلين عن رأي مفاده أنه يتعين على اللجنة أن تعالج مسألة تقديم المساعدة الانسانية الى سكان الدول السريعة التأثر التي تم فرض الجزاءات بحقها.

٥٤ - وأيا كان الخيار الذي يستقر عليه الرأي، فإن المجتمع الدولي سوف يضطر الى مواصلة أداء دور ناشط في إيجاد طرق لتقديم المساعدة الانسانية الى من هم بحاجة إليها.

8. Commends the efforts of States, United Nations agencies and non-governmental organizations which have provided humanitarian assistance to refugees and displaced persons in need, encourages them to continue such assistance, and calls upon the Government of Rwanda to continue to facilitate their delivery and distribution;
٨ - يشيد بالجهود التي تبذلها الدول ووكالات اﻷمم المتحدة والمنظمات غير الحكومية التي تقدم المساعدة الانسانية الى اللاجئين والمشردين الذين هم بحاجة الى مساعدة، ويشجعها على مواصلة تقديم تلك المساعدة، ويطلب الى حكومة رواندا مواصلة تيسير إيصال تلك المساعدة وتوزيعها؛

In this context, Ethiopia appreciates the determination of the donor community to help Somalia, and applauds its commitment to provide humanitarian assistance to any part of Somalia that guarantees stability and willingness to cooperate with all forces that are prepared to contribute towards that end, as well as fulfil certain other criteria related to the donor country's endeavours to provide assistance for relief and rehabilitation.
