The Human Rights Council adopted a resolution on 13 June 2013 (Human Rights Council resolution 23/13), which for the first time at an international level, recognized and addressed the attacks and discrimination people with albinism face in many countries.
واتخذ مجلس حقوق الإنسان قرارا في 13 حزيران/يونيه 2013 (قرار مجلس حقوق الإنسان 3/13)، الذي يقر، لأول مرة على الصعيد الدولي، بما يتعرض له الأشخاص المصابون بالمهق في عدة بلدان من اعتداءات وتمييز ضدهم.

124. Under the terms of paragraph 7 of resolution 23/13, the Human Rights Council requested OHCHR to submit a preliminary report on attacks and discrimination against persons with albinism to the Council at its twenty-fourth session.
