345. A member of the SSS who suffers permanent total disability and who has paid at least 36 monthly contributions prior to the semester of disability shall be entitled to the monthly pension.
345- ويحق للعضو في نظام الضمان الاجتماعي الذي يعاني من عجز كلي دائم والذي دفع 36 اشتراكاً شهرياً على الأقل قبل ستة أشهر من الإعاقة أن يحصل على المعاش التقاعدي الشهري.

The monthly pension and dependents' pension shall be suspended upon the re-employment or resumption of selfemployment or the recovery of the disabled member from his or her permanent total disability or failure to present himself or herself for examination at least once a year upon notice by the SSS.

365. Upon the death of a pensioner, his primary beneficiaries, as of the date of disability, shall be entitled up to 100 per cent of the monthly pension.

347. For a permanent totally disabled member who is entitled to lump sum benefit, the amount is equivalent to the monthly pension times the number of monthly contributions paid to SSS or 12 times the monthly pension, whichever is higher.

367. Under the GSIS charter, an employee entitled to permanent total disability shall be paid a monthly income benefit equivalent to the basic monthly pension plus 20 per cent thereof.
367- وبموجب ميثاق نظام التأمين على موظفي الخدمة الحكومية، يُدفع للموظف الذي يحق له الحصول على تعويضات لإصابته بعجز كلي دائم تعويض شهري يُعادل المعاش التقاعدي الشهري الأساسي، مضافاً إليه 20 في المائة منه.

373. Under the SSS, upon a member's retirement, permanent disability and death, up to five minor dependent children shall receive a dependent's pension equivalent to P 250 or 10 per cent of the member's monthly pension, whichever is higher.

36. While noting with satisfaction the positive impact of the 2008 pension reform on women, the Committee is concerned about the discriminatory calculation system of the pension fund, which, by using life expectancy tables disaggregated by sex, results in a different monthly pension at the time of retirement for those women and men who have equally contributed and accrued equal account balances.

351. A GSIS member who suffers permanent disability for reasons not due to his or her grave misconduct, notorious negligence, habitual intoxication, or willful intention to kill himself or another shall, on the other hand, be entitled to monthly income benefits for life equal to the basic monthly pension effective from the date of disability.
351- ومن ناحية أخرى، يحق للعضو في نظام التأمين على موظفي الخدمة الحكومية الذي يعاني من إعاقة دائمة لأسباب لا تمت بصلة إلى سلوكه السيئ، أو إهماله الواضح، أو ثمالته المعتادة، أو رغبته المتعمدة في الانتحار، أو غير ذلك من الأمور، أن يحصل على تعويضات شهرية مدى الحياة تُعادل المعاش التقاعدي الشهري الأساسي النافذ اعتباراً من تاريخ الإعاقة.
