ويجب على الدول أن تنضم، دون تحفظات، إلى نظام روما الأساسي للمحكمة الجنائية الدولية وغيره من المعاهدات الدولية والإقليمية لحقوق الإنسان التي تحمي حقوق النساء والفتيات.

267. The Government of the Sudan has ratified, acceded to or signed several international and regional human rights treaties designed to protect the rights of individuals in the Sudan.

ويسهم كذلك نقص الخبرة في سعي بروني دار السلام إلى تحقيق فهم أفضل لالتزاماتها بضمان تنفيذ المعاهدات المتعلقة بحقوق الإنسان تنفيذاً فعالاً، وهي المعاهدات التي أصبحت دولة طرف فيها ووقعت عليها، وكذلك في تسهيل نظرها في الانضمام إلى مختلف المعاهدات الدولية والإقليمية لحقوق الإنسان.

1. Appeals strongly to all States that have not yet done so to become parties to the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, as well as other international and regional human rights treaties;
1- تناشد بقوة جميع الدول التي لم تصبح بعد أطرافاً في العهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية وفي العهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق المدنية والسياسية، وكذلك في غيرهما من المعاهدات الدولية والإقليمية لحقوق الإنسان أن تفعل ذلك؛
