1. The Task Force on Statistics of International Trade in Services has developed the Manual on Statistics of International Trade in Services.

The Secretary-General has the honour to transmit to the Statistical Commission the report of the Task Force on Statistics of International Trade in Services (Convener: Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development), which is contained in the annex.
يتشرف اﻷمين العام بأن يحيل إلى اللجنة اﻹحصائية تقرير فرقة العمل المعنية بإحصاءات التجارة الدولية بالخدمات )الجهة المنظمة للاجتماعات: منظمة التعاون والتنمية في الميدان الاقتصادي(، الوارد في المرفق.

1. During the past two years, the Task Force on Statistics of International Trade in Services has addressed the issues identified in the previous report to the Commission (E/CN.3/2003/15) and the suggestion of the Commission in 2003 that work should focus on increasing the quality of data.
1 - خلال العامين الماضيين، عالجت فرقة العمل المعنية بإحصاءات التجارة الدولية بالخدمات المسائل المحددة في تقرير اللجنة السابق (E/CN.3 /2003/15) وتناولت الاقتراح الذي تقدمت به اللجنة في عام 2003 ومفاده ضرورة تركيز العمل على تعزيز نوعية البيانات.

In accordance with a request of the Statistical Commission at its thirty-third session,** the Secretary-General has the honour to transmit the report of the Task Force on Statistics of International Trade in Services (Convener: Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development).
يتشرف الأمين العام بأن يحيل تقرير فرقة العمل المعنية بإحصاءات التجارة الدولية بالخدمات (الجهة المنظمة للاجتماعات: منظمة التعاون والتنمية في الميدان الاقتصادي)، وفقا لطلب اللجنة الإحصائية في دورتها الثالثة والثلاثين**.

It had before it the following documents: (a) Note by the Secretary-General transmitting the report of the Task Force on Statistics of International Trade in Services (E/CN.3/2005/6); (b) Background document prepared by the United Nations Statistics Division entitled " Minutes of the first meeting of the Technical Subgroup on the Movement of Natural Persons -- Mode 4 " .
وكان معروضا عليها الوثيقتان التاليتان: (أ) مذكرة من الأمين العام يحيل بها تقرير فرقة العمل المعنية بإحصاءات التجارة الدولية بالخدمات (E/CN.3/2005/6)؛ (ب) وثيقة معلومات أساسية أعدتها شعبة الإحصاءات بالأمم المتحدة بعنوان " محضر الجلسة الأولى للفريق الفرعي التقني المعني بحركة الأشخاص الطبيعيين - الطبعة 4 " .
