26. UN-Habitat continued to support regional ministerial conferences on housing and urban development in Africa and in Asia and the Pacific.

Ministerial conferences on housing and urban development for Asia and Africa were attended by representatives of 70 countries, all of which adopted an enhanced framework of implementation for addressing housing and urban challenges.

In that context, she expressed support for the ongoing ministerial meetings at the regional level on housing and urban development, which focused on mainstreaming the urban dimension of the Habitat Agenda and the related internationally agreed development goals.

In resolution67/216, paragraph 12, the General Assembly encouraged stakeholders gathered at the seventh session of the World Urban Forum, as well as at the regular ministerial conferences on housing and urban development and other relevant group meetings, to provide inputs and to contribute, as appropriate, to the process leading to the conference.
ففي الفقرة 12 من القرار 67/216، شجعت الجمعية العامة الجهات المعنية المجتمعة في الدورة السابعة للمنتدى الحضري العالمي، وكذلك في المؤتمرات الوزارية الدورية المعنية بالإسكان والتنمية الحضرية واجتماعات أفرقة الخبراء الأخرى ذات الصلة بالموضوع، على تقديم مدخلات إلى العملية المفضية إلى المؤتمر وعلى المساهمة فيها، حسب الاقتضاء.

(e) To continue to include in their planned regional meetings, such as the regular sessions of regional ministerial conferences on housing and urban development, as well as of other relevant regional intergovernmental meetings, dialogue on Habitat III, so as to facilitate the provision of regional inputs to the conference's preparatory process;
(هـ) أن تواصل إدراج الحوار المتعلق بالموئل الثالث في اجتماعاتها الإقليمية المقررة، مثل الدورات العادية للمؤتمرات الوزارية الإقليمية المعنية بالإسكان والتنمية الحضرية وسائر الاجتماعات الحكومية الدولية الإقليمية المعنية بالموضوع، تيسيراً لتقديم الإسهامات الإقليمية في العملية التحضيرية للمؤتمر؛

Also calls upon Member States to continue to include in their planned regional meetings, such as the regular sessions of regional ministerial conferences on housing and urban development, as well as of other relevant regional intergovernmental meetings, discussions on Habitat III, so as to facilitate the provision of regional inputs to the preparatory process for the Conference;
