" Encouraged by the positive international response to the results of the World Commission on Culture and Development and the Intergovernmental Conference on Cultural Policies for Development organized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization at Stockholm from 30 March to 2 April 1998,
" وإذ شجعتها الاستجابة الدولية الإيجابية للنتائج التي حققتها اللجنة العالمية المعنية بالثقافة والتنمية والمؤتمر الحكومي الدولي المعني بالسياسات الثقافية من أجل التنمية الذي نظمته منظمة الأمم المتحدة للتربية والعلم والثقافة في ستكهولم في الفترة من 30 آذار/مارس إلى 2 نيسان/أبريل 1998،
