The present report contains a summary of the discussions that took place during the seminar on treaties, agreements and other constructive arrangements between States and indigenous peoples, held in Geneva from 15 to 17 December 2003.

2. The seminar on treaties, agreements and other constructive arrangements between States and indigenous peoples was held at the United Nations Office at Geneva, from 15 to 17 December 2003.

101. The Working Group decided to recommend to the Sub-Commission to invite the Commission to request the Council to authorize the seminar on treaties, agreements and other constructive arrangements between indigenous people referred to in Commission resolution 2002/63.

1. The experts participating in the Seminar on treaties, Agreements and Other Constructive Arrangements between States and Indigenous Peoples, meeting in Geneva from 15 to 17 December 2003, agreed upon the following conclusions and recommendations:
1- إن الخبراء المشاركين في الحلقة الدراسية المعنية بالمعاهدات والاتفاقات وغيرها من الترتيبات البناءة المبرمة بين الدول والشعوب الأصلية، الذين اجتمعوا في جنيف من 15 إلى 17 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2003، قد اتفقوا على الاستنتاجات والتوصيات التالية:

38. Reference was also made to the recent United Nations Seminar on treaties, Agreements and Other Constructive Arrangements between States and Indigenous Peoples, held in Geneva from 15 to 17 December 2003.

22. There is the Inter-Ministerial Committee on treaties, Conventions and Protocols charged with the responsibility of coordinating the country's processes relating to ratification, accession, implementation and adherence to treaty obligations, including preparation of treaty reports.
22- تتولى اللجنة الوزارية المعنية بالمعاهدات والاتفاقيات والبروتوكولات مسؤولية تنسيق العمليات التي أطلقها البلد للتصديق على المعاهدات والانضمام إليها وتنفيذها والتقيد بالالتزامات الناشئة عنها، بما في ذلك إعداد التقارير التي يتعين تقديمها بموجب هذه المعاهدات.

19. The experts participating in the seminar on treaties, agreements and other constructive arrangements between States and indigenous peoples, meeting in Maskwacîs Territory of Treaty No. 6, from 14 to 17 November 2006, agreed upon the conclusions and recommendations set out below.
