وشاركت الحركة في العملية المتعلقة بمشروع البروتوكولات الاختيارية لاتفاقية حقوق الطفل المعنية بمسائل بيع اﻷطفال ودعارة اﻷطفال والتصوير اﻹباحي لﻷطفال والزج باﻷطفال في النزاعات المسلحة.

The Special Rapporteur on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography had done commendable work, as had the open-ended working group of the Commission on Human Rights on a draft optional protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child dealing with that issue.
وأثنى على العمل الذي قامت به المقررة الخاصة المعنية بمسائل بيع اﻷطفال وبغاء اﻷطفال واستخدام اﻷطفال في إنتاج المواد اﻹباحية، وكذلك الفريق العامل المفتوح العضوية للجنة حقوق اﻹنسان المعني بوضع مشروع بروتوكول اختياري لاتفاقية حقوق الطفل يتناول تلك المسألة.

His delegation supported the work of the Special Rapporteur on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography, welcomed the convening in Stockholm of the World Congress against the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children, and strongly supported the Declaration and Agenda for Action issued at that Congress.

1. At its fifty-first session, the Commission on Human Rights decided, by its resolution 1995/79 of 8 March 1995, to renew for a further period of three years the mandate of the Special Rapporteur on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography.
١ - قررت لجنة حقوق اﻹنسان في دورتها الحادية والخمسين، بقرارها ٥٩٩١/٩٧ المؤرخ ٨ آذار/مارس ٥٩٩١، أن تجدد لمدة ثلاث سنوات أخرى ولاية المقررة الخاصة المعنية بمسائل بيع اﻷطفال وبغاء اﻷطفال واستخدام اﻷطفال في إنتاج المواد اﻹباحية.

In that connection, it commended the excellent report by the Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography (A/51/456).
وأثنى في هذا الصدد، على التقرير الممتاز الذي أعدته المقررة الخاصة للجنة حقوق اﻹنسان المعنية بمسائل بيع اﻷطفال وبغاء اﻷطفال واستخدام اﻷطفال في إنتاج المواد اﻹباحية )A/51/456(.

The interim report of the Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography (A/51/456) drew attention to the plight of the victims of those deplorable practices.

At the invitation of the Government of the United States of America, the Special Rapporteur on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography, visited Washington, New York, Tucson, Phoenix and San Francisco from 9 to 20 December 1996, to study the issue of commercial sexual exploitation of children in the United States of America.
١- بدعوة من حكومة الولايات المتحدة اﻷمريكية، قامت المقررة الخاصة المعنية بمسائل بيع اﻷطفال ويغاء اﻷطفال والتصوير اﻹباحي لﻷطفال بزيارة واشنطن ونيويورك وتوكسون وفوينيكس وسان فرانسيسكو في الفترة من ٩ إلى ٠٢ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ٦٩٩١، لدراسة مسألة الاستغلال الجنسي التجاري لﻷطفال في الولايات المتحدة اﻷمريكية.

Faced with the growing exploitation and abuse of children, her delegation welcomed the interim report of the Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography (A/51/456), particularly chapter V, which provided an analysis of that very complex issue and listed possible solutions available to States.
٩٢ - وبسبب اتساع نطاق استغلال اﻷطفال وازدياد العنف الذي يتعرضون له، أعربت ممثلة جامايكا عن اغتباط وفدها للتقرير المؤقت الذي أعدته المقررة الخاصة للجنة حقوق اﻹنسان المعنية بمسائل بيع اﻷطفال وبغاء اﻷطفال واستخدام اﻷطفال في إنتاج المواد اﻹباحية (A/51/456)، وخصوصا الفرع الخامس منه، الذي يحلل هذه المشكلة الشديدة التعقيد ويعرض على الدول حلولا ممكنة.
