The Committee experts also benefited from various interactions and the sharing of information with the Task Force, including on upcoming activities of common interest, such as those conducted in the framework of the Working Groups on Preventing and Responding to Weapons of Mass Destruction Attacks and on Border Management related to Counter-Terrorism.

Under the Task Force Working Group on Border Management related to Counter-Terrorism, the Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate, INTERPOL and WCO led an effort to compile a comprehensive compendium of international and regional instruments, norms and good practices for counter-terrorism-related border control.

As a member of the CTITF Working Group on Border Management Relating to Counter-Terrorism, the Office has provided extensive human rights-related input to the Online Compendium of Legal Instruments, Standards and Recommended Practices Relating to Border Management, which was launched on 18 July 2012.
15- وقدمت المفوضية، بوصفها عضواً في الفريق العامل المعني بإدارة الحدود فيما يتعلق بمكافحة الإرهاب التابع لفرقة العمل المعنية بالتنفيذ في مجال مكافحة الإرهاب، مساهمة واسعة تتعلق بحقوق الإنسان في المجموعة الإلكترونية للصكوك القانونية والمعايير والممارسات الموصى بها فيما يتعلق بإدارة الحدود التي استهلت في 18 تموز/يوليه 2012.

8. Welcomes the development of the Afghan National Army and Afghan National Police and the ongoing efforts to increase their capabilities as important steps towards the goal of Afghan security forces providing security and ensuring the rule of law throughout the country; and further welcomes in this regard the outcome of the Doha Conference on Border Management on 28 February 2006;
8 - يرحب بتطوير الجيش الوطني الأفغاني والشرطة الوطنية الأفغانية وبالجهود الجارية لزيادة قدراتهما، باعتبار ذلك خطوة هامة نحو تحقيق هدف قيام قوات الأمن الأفغانية بتوفير الأمن وضمان سيادة القانون في كل أنحاء البلد؛ ويرحب كذلك في هذا الصدد بنتيجة مؤتمر الدوحة المعني بإدارة الحدود المعقود في 28 شباط/فبراير 2006؛

9. Other working groups of the Counter-Terrorism Implementation Task Force also continue to address human rights issues in their work, including the Working Group on Supporting and Highlighting Victims of Terrorism, the newly established Working Group on Border Management Relating to Counter-Terrorism, the Working Group on Countering the Use of the Internet for Terrorism Purposes, and the integrated assistance for countering terrorism initiative.
