5. The KPCS has six standing bodies viz. Participation Committee (PC), Working Group on Monitoring (WGM), Working Group on Statistics (WGS), Working Group on Diamond Experts (WGDE), Working Group on Artisanal and Alluvial Production (WGAAP) and Committee on Rules and Procedures (CRP).

25. The Working Group on Artisanal and Alluvial Production (WGAAP) analysed the progress achieved under the action plan by the artisanal alluvial producing countries.

29. The Working Group on Artisanal and Alluvial Production has focused in 2010 on several key issues intended to enhance the capacity-building of the Working Group.

36. As a follow-up to the seminar on enforcement held in Israel, the Working Group on Artisanal and Alluvial Production recommended the organizing of an additional seminar at the subregional level.

37. The plenary took note that members of the Working Group on Artisanal and Alluvial Production were concerned about the need to ensure that the production of diamonds meets the expectation of consumers for ethical products in the context of protecting the reputation and value of diamonds.

ويعمل الفريق العامل المعني بالإنتاج الحرفي للماس الغريني على تعزيز ضوابط محلية أكثر فعالية على إنتاج وتجارة الماس الغريني بما يكفل ألا يصدر من الماس سوى ما يُنتَج ويُباع منه وفقاً للتشريعات الوطنية ولمعايير نظام عملية كيمبرلي لإصدار شهادات المنشأ.

31. The Working Group on Artisanal Alluvial Production supported the request by Cameroon for technical assistance for the establishment of traceability mechanisms within its internal controls.

45. As recommended by the Working Group on Artisanal Alluvial Production, the plenary added the African Diamond Producers Association as a permanent independent observer member of the Working Group.
