It should be noted that in line with the request made by the Intergovernmental Group of Experts on Competition Law and Policy in its agreed conclusions (TD/B/COM.2/19-TD/B/COM.2/CLP/14, Chapter I, op. para. 10), the UNCTAD secretariat is making available to the Fourth Review Conference a Revised Model Law (document TD/RBP/CONF.5/7), which contains specific merger control rules and commentary thereupon.
