(ii) A staff member holding a fixed-term or continuing appointment may be reimbursed for the shipment of personal effects and household goods, up to a maximum of 100 kilograms or 0.62 cubic metres, by the most economical means when on assignment for less than one year.
' 2` يجوز رد تكاليف شحن الأمتعة الشخصية واللوازم المنزلية للموظف المعين تعيينا محدد المدة أو مستمرا، بحد أقصى قدره 100 كيلوغرام أو 0.62 متر مكعب، وبأكثر الطرق اقتصادا، عند التعيين لمدة تقل عن سنة واحدة.

(a) (i) Special leave may be granted at the request of a staff member holding a fixed-term or continuing appointment for advanced study or research in the interest of the United Nations, in cases of extended illness, for childcare or for other important reasons for such period of time as the Secretary-General may prescribe;
(أ) ' 1` يجوز منح إجازة خاصة للموظف المعين تعيينا محدد المدة أو تعيينا مستمرا، بناء على طلبه، لإجراء دراسات متقدمة أو أبحاث تكون في مصلحة الأمم المتحدة، أو في حالات المرض الطويل، أو للعناية بالأطفال، أو لأية أسباب هامة أخرى، وذلك للمدة الزمنية التي يحددها الأمين العام؛

(e) A staff member holding a fixed-term or a continuing appointment who travels at United Nations expense to a duty station for an assignment of one year or more shall be paid an assignment grant in accordance with paragraphs (b) and (c) above.
(هـ) أما الموظف المعين تعيينا محدد المدة أو مستمرا، والذي يسافر على نفقة الأمم المتحدة إلى مركز عمل لغرض الانتداب لمدة عام واحد أو أكثر فتُدفع له منحة انتداب عملا بالفقرتين (ب) و (ج) أعلاه.

(d) The United Nations shall pay the travel expenses of eligible family members as defined under paragraph (a) above of a staff member holding a fixed-term or continuing appointment, subject to conditions established by the Secretary-General, under the following circumstances:
(د) تدفع الأمم المتحدة، على النحو المحدد في الفقرة (أ) أعلاه ورهنا بالشروط التي يضعها الأمين العام، مصاريف سفر أفراد الأسرة المستحقين للموظف المعين تعيينا محدد المدة أو تعيينا مستمرا، ، وذلك في الأحوال التالية:

(e) A staff member holding a fixed-term or continuing appointment who travels at United Nations expense to a duty station for an assignment expected to be for one year or more shall be paid an assignment grant in accordance with paragraphs (b) and (c) above.
(هـ) أما الموظف المعين تعيينا محدد المدة أو مستمرا، والذي يسافر على نفقة الأمم المتحدة إلى مركز عمل لغرض الانتداب لمدة يتوقع أن تكون عاما واحدا أو أكثر فتُدفع له منحة انتداب عملا بالفقرتين (ب) و (ج) أعلاه.

(أ) ' 1` يجوز منح إجازة خاصة للموظف المعين تعيينا محدد المدة أو تعيينا مستمرا، بناء على طلبه، لإجراء دراسات متقدمة أو أبحاث تكون في مصلحة الأمم المتحدة، أو في حالات المرض الطويل، أو للعناية بالأطفال، أو لأية أسباب هامة أخرى، وذلك للمدة الزمنية التي يحددها الأمين العام.

(a) A staff member holding a fixed-term or continuing appointment who resigns before completing one year of service or within six months following the date of his or her return from travel on home leave or family visit shall not be entitled to payment of return travel expenses for himself or herself and family members unless the Secretary-General determines that there are compelling reasons for authorizing such payment.
(أ) ليس للموظف المعين تعيينا محدد المدة أو تعيينا مستمرا الذي يستقيل قبل إتمام سنة واحدة من الخدمة أو في غضون ستة أشهر من تاريخ عودته من سفر إجازة زيارة الوطن أو إجازة زيارة الأسرة، الحق في الحصول على مصاريف رحلة الإياب له أو لأفراد أسرته، إلا إذا رأى الأمين العام أن هناك أسبابا اضطرارية توجب الإذن بدفع هذه المصاريف.
