The special rapporteurs and working groups on human rights had recently met with the Assistant Secretary-General for Human Rights to discuss the Human Rights Up Front initiative, aimed at putting human rights front and centre in every aspect of United Nations operations.
وقد اجتمع المقررون الخاصون والأفرقة العاملة المعنية بحقوق الإنسان في الآونة الأخيرة مع الأمين العام المساعد لحقوق الإنسان لمناقشة مبادرة حقوق الإنسان أولا، التي تهدف إلى وضع حقوق الإنسان في مقدمة وفي صلب كل جانب من جوانب عمليات الأمم المتحدة.

It is also disturbing to note that urgent appeals have been sent by the concerned special rapporteurs and working groups on repeated occasions for the same individuals and organizations, and that the Governments in question have either not answered these communications, or have provided unsatisfactory replies to the requests for investigations into the allegations.
٧٤- ومما يبعث على القلق أيضا أن نداءات عاجلة وجهها المقررون الخاصون والأفرقة العاملة المعنيون في مناسبات متكررة نيابة عن نفس الأفراد والمنظمات، وأن الحكومات المعنية لم ترد على هذه الرسائل أو أنها قدمت ردودا غير مرضية على طلبات التحقيق في الادعاءات.

(a) Should the Expanded Bureau of the Commission consider, monthly, urgent situations raised by special rapporteurs and working groups of the Commission? Might it avail itself of the possibility of calling upon independent experts to help it in reacting to urgent situations?
(أ) هل ينبغي لمكتب اللجنة الموسع أن ينظر شهرياً في الحالات العاجلة التي يثيرها المقررون الخاصون والأفرقة العاملة التابعة للجنة؟ وهل يبحث في إمكانية دعوة خبراء مستقلين لمساعدته في التصرف إزاء تلك الحالات العاجلة؟
