During 1994, for example, 118 such cases were reported and dealt with by the Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions.

In his report, the Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, Summary or Arbitrary Executions concluded that since the National Commission of Inquiry had completed its investigation no institutionalized or organized effort had been made by the Indonesian authorities to account for the fate of the dead and disappeared.

52. On 28 August 1995, the Special Rapporteur and the Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial summary or arbitrary executions issued a joint urgent appeal to the Burundi Government drawing its attention to the extremely precarious situation of civilians in the Kamenge district of Bujumbura, who were the victims of clashes between the Burundi armed forces and Hutu armed gangs during July and August.

372. On 5 March 1996 the Special Rapporteur made an urgent appeal in conjunction with the Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions on behalf of Syed Ashraf Ali, Syed Naushad Ali, Syed Nusrat Ali and Mohammad Saleem, who were reportedly arrested on 29 February 1996, and Tanvir Adil Siddiqui, Ovais Siddiqui and Azizi Mustafa, who were reportedly arrested on 27 February 1996.
٢٧٣- أرسل المقرر الخاص بالاشتراك مع المقرر الخاص المعني بحالات الاعدام بلا محاكمة أو بإجراءات موجزة أو اﻹعدام التعسفي في ٥ آذار/مارس ٦٩٩١ نداء عاجلاً بالنيابة عن سعيد أشرف علي وسعيد نوشاد علي وسعيد نصرت علي ومحمد سليم بشأن ادعاء القبض عليهم في ٩٢ شباط/فبراير ٦٩٩١، وبالنيابة عن تنذير عادل صديقي، وأوفاييس صديقي، وعزيز مصطفى بشأن ادعاء القبض عليهم في ٧٢ شباط/فبراير ٦٩٩١.

373. On 16 June 1996 the Special Rapporteur together with the Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions and the Special Rapporteur on the independence of judges and lawyers advised the Government that they had learned of the murder by two assailants of Nizam Ahmed, a former Justice of the Sindh High Court and a member of the Pakistan Bar Council, and his son Nadeen Ahmed.
٣٧٣- أبلغ المقرر الخاص ومعه المقرر الخاص المعني بحالات الاعدام بلا محاكمة أو بإجراءات موجزة أو الاعدام التعسفي والمقرر الخاص المعني باستقلال القضاة والمحامين الحكومة في ٦١ تموز/يوليه ٦٩٩١ عن ورود معلومات بشأن قيام شخصين بقتل نظام أحمد، القاضي السابق بمحكمة السند العليا والعضو في نقابة المحامين في باكستان، وبقتل ابنه نديم أحمد أيضاً.

The Secretary-General further reported on the relevant activities of other United Nations bodies (paras. 28-30), citing in particular the activities of the Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions and the Commission of Experts established pursuant to Security Council resolution 780 (1992), both in relation to alleged violations in the territory of the former Yugoslavia.
