The follow-up procedure of the Committee against Torture was described by the Rapporteur on follow-up of that Committee, while the Special Rapporteurs on torture and on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions provided information on the development of follow-up mechanisms in relation to their mandates.

37. In order to facilitate the work of the Committee in this regard, the Rapporteur on follow-up and the secretariat have been working on an analytical table on follow-up which would act as a progress report to the Committee on actions taken or proposed at each session of the Committee.
37 - وبغية تيسير عمل اللجنة في هذا الصدد، ما برح المقرر المعني بالمتابعة والأمانة يعملان على وضع جدول تحليلي بشأن المتابعة سيكون بمثابة تقرير مرحلي يقدم إلى اللجنة بشأن الاجراءات المتخذة أو المقترح اتخاذها في كل دورة من دورات اللجنة.

From the assessment undertaken by the Rapporteur on follow-up, the overall response rate was deemed to be satisfactory, with a rate of approximately 75 per cent (50 States parties out of 67 had provided follow-up information), and generally within the deadline of one year or shortly thereafter.
ويبدو من التقييم الذي أجراه المقرر المعني بالمتابعة أن معدل الاستجابة العام يبدو مرضيا حيث بلغ نسبة 75 في المائة (50 دولة طرف من جملة 67 دولة قدمت معلومات بشأن المتابعة). وفي فترة سنة واحدة أو أقل منها بعد ذلك.

25. The Committee adopted the following framework of the mandate of the follow-up rapporteur as follows:
25 - واعتمدت اللجنة الإطار التالي لولاية المقرر المعني بالمتابعة:

(g) The follow-up rapporteur should report to the Committee at each session.
(ز) يقدم المقرر المعني بالمتابعة تقريرا إلى اللجنة في كل دورة.

The follow-up rapporteur will establish a deadline, not exceeding 12 months from the date of notification, for States parties to submit the information requested.
22- ويحدد المقرر المعني بالمتابعة أجلاً نهائياً لتقديم الدول الأطراف المعلومات المطلوبة، على ألا يتجاوز هذا الأجل فترة شهرين من تاريخ إخطارها بطلب المعلومات.
