After discussion and statements by a number of Parties relating to recent ratifications, the preparatory segment noted with appreciation the efforts being made by countries to ratify the instruments and requested the Secretariat to update the draft decision and include it among those that would be forwarded to the highlevel segment for adoption.

8- يطلب إلى الهيئة الفرعية للمشورة العلمية والتكنولوجية أن تنظر خلال دورتها السابعة عشرة في النتائج الأولى المحققة بواسطة الإجراءات المتخذة عملاً بهذا المقرر وأن تنقلها إلى مؤتمر الأطراف في دورته الثامنة لينظر في اتخاذ أية إجراءات أخرى؛

In the event that the Conference of the Parties considers that this specific project decision does not comply with the policies, eligibility criteria and programme priorities established by the Conference of the Parties, it may ask the governing body of the operating entity for further clarification on this specific project decision and in due time ask for a reconsideration of that decision;
وإذا رأى مؤتمر اﻷطراف أن هذا المقرر المتعلق بمشروع من المشاريع المحددة لا يمتثل لما أقره من سياسات أو معايير لﻷهلية أو أولويات برنامجية، جاز له أن يطلب الى مجلس إدارة كيان التشغيل أن يقدم إيضاحات اضافية عن هذا المقرر وأن يطلب في الوقت المناسب إعادة النظر فيه؛

11. Requests the Committee for the Review of the Implementation of the Convention to include in its programme of work for 2011 a review and assessment of progress with this decision and report to the tenth session of the Conference of the Parties.
11- يطلب إلى لجنة استعراض تنفيذ الاتفاقية أن تضمّن برنامج عملها لعام 2011 استعراضاً وتقييماً للتقدم المحرز في تنفيذ هذا المقرر وأن تقدم تقريراً بشأنه إلى مؤتمر الأطراف في دورته العاشرة.
