9. As a result of the relocation of the Office to Vienna, the head of the Office is now responsible for the implementation of the activities assigned to this Programme.

The services provided by the Office aim at providing authoritative information on the important work being carried out on a daily basis by the Organization.

The CHAIRMAN drew the General Committee's attention to seven items of the draft agenda not previously considered by the General Assembly, and invited the General Committee to decide what recommendations it wished to make with regard to the allocation of those items.
٨٥ - الرئيس: لفت انتباه المكتب الى سبعة بنود من بنود مشروع جدول اﻷعمال لم يسبق للجمعية العامة أن نظرت فيها، ودعا المكتب الى البت في ماهية التوصيات التي يرغب في تقديمها بشأن توزيع هذه البنود.

In view of the current grave financial crisis facing the United Nations, the Secretary-General wishes to draw the attention of the General Committee to the fact that only two copies of official documents will be distributed to permanent missions and that the practice of simultaneous distribution of documents in all languages will be modified.
٣١ - ونظرا لﻷزمة المالية الخطرة التي تواجه اﻷمم المتحدة، يود اﻷمين العام أن يسترعي انتباه المكتب الى أن نسختين فقط من الوثائق الرسمية ستعممان على البعثات الدائمة، وأن ممارسة التعميم المتزامن للوثائق بجميع اللغات ستعدل.

Furthermore, the Secretary-General wishes to draw the attention of the General Committee to General Assembly resolution 48/264 of 29 July 1994, entitled " Revitalization of the work of the General Assembly " , and to annex I thereto, entitled " Guidelines on the rationalization of the agenda of the General Assembly " .
٤ - ويود اﻷمين العــام كذلك أن يسترعي انتبــاه المكتب الى قــرار الجمعية العامة ٤٨/٢٦٤ المؤرخ ٢٩ تموز/يوليه ١٩٩٤ والمعنون " تنشيط أعمال الجمعية العامة " ، وإلى المرفق اﻷول منه المعنون " المبادئ التوجيهية لترشيد جدول أعمال الجمعية العامة " .

52. In connection with item 63 of the draft agenda (General and complete disarmament), the Secretary-General wishes to draw the attention of the General Committee to the fact that some portions of the annual report of the International Atomic Energy Agency (A/49/297), which is to be considered directly in plenary meeting under item 14, deal with the subject-matter of this item.
٥٢ - وفيما يتعلق بالبند ٦٣ من مشروع جدول اﻷعمال )نزع السلاح العام الكامل(، يود اﻷمين العام أن يوجه انتباه المكتب الى أن بعض أجزاء التقرير السنوي للوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية (A/49/297) التي ستبحث مباشرة في الجلسات العام في إطار البند ١٤، تتناول موضوع هذا البند.

I look forward to the findings and conclusions of the first annual report of the Office, to be submitted to the General Assembly in September 1995.
وإننى اتطلع الى الاطلاع على ما سيرد من نتائج واستنتاجات في التقرير السنوي اﻷول الذي سيقدمه المكتب الى الجمعية العامة في أيلول/سبتمبر ١٩٩٥.

In that regard, it is recalled that the estimates for 1994-1995 provided for the relocation of the Office to Vienna.
وفي هذا الصدد، تجدر اﻹشارة أن التقديرات للفترة ١٩٩٤-١٩٩٥ تغطي تكاليف نقل المكتب الى فيينا.
