Having considered the report, the Council urged the United Nations development system to step up efforts in a number of areas, notably the implementation of the Plan of Action for the Harmonization of business practices in the United Nations System adopted by the United Nations System Chief Executives Board for Coordination (CEB) in 2007, cost-recovery policies and the roll-out of the harmonized approach to cash transfers (see resolution 2009/1).
