He expressed confidence that exchanges and insights shared during the session would lead to the identification of " best practices " and other vital elements of policy at the national and international levels by which to enhance the role of enterprises in promoting development.

11. The Coordinator referred the Group to the " Compilation of existing guidelines, best practices and other recommendations aiming at addressing the diversion or illicit use of materials that can be used for IEDs " , which remained a reference tool for delegations to draw on as needed.
11- وأحال المنسق الفريق إلى " تجميع المبادئ التوجيهية الحالية، وأفضل الممارسات وغيرها من التوصيات الرامية إلى التصدي لتحويل المواد التي يمكن استخدامها في صنع الأجهزة المتفجرة المرتجلة أو استخدام هذه المواد استخداماً غير مشروع " ، الذي لا يزال أداة مرجعية يمكن أن تستند إليها الوفود عند الحاجة.

17. Delegations welcomed the draft " Compilation of guidelines, best practices and other recommendations aiming at addressing the diversion or illicit use of materials which can be used for IEDs " and supported its dissemination.

5. In 2012, High Contracting Parties to APII noted the Coordinators' compilation of existing guidelines, best practices and other recommendations aiming at addressing the diversion or illicit use of materials that could be used in the production of IEDs.
5- وفي عام 2012، أحاطت الأطراف المتعاقدة السامية علماً بالتجميع الذي أعده المنسقان للمبادئ التوجيهية الحالية، وأفضل الممارسات وغيرها من التوصيات الرامية إلى التصدي لتسريب المواد التي يمكن استخدامها في صنع الأجهزة المتفجرة المرتجلة أو استخدامها غير المشروع.

11. The Group discussed the added value of establishing guidelines aimed to prevent diversion or illicit use of materials which can be used for IEDs and stressed that such work would need to take into account existing guidelines, best practices and other recommendations.
11- وناقش الفريق القيمة المضافة لوضع مبادئ توجيهية ترمي إلى منع تحويل المواد التي يمكن استخدامها في صنع الأجهزة المتفجرة المرتجلة أو منع استخدام هذه المواد استخداماً غير مشروع وشدد على أن هذا العمل ينبغي أن يراعي المبادئ التوجيهية القائمة، وأفضل الممارسات وغيرها من التوصيات.

The Unit also assisted the Co-coordinators on Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) in implementing their mandate, as well as maintaining the Compilation of existing guidelines, best practices and other recommendations aiming at addressing the diversion or illicit use of materials which can be used for IEDs currently posted on the CCW website.
