With regard to national and sexual minorities, Armenia has taken concrete steps towards the implementation of its commitments with the realization of a number of legal and institutional reforms aimed at strengthening the protection of human rights, including those aimed at strengthening the protection of the rights of persons belonging to national minorities.
11 - وفي ما يتعلق بالأقليات القومية والجنسية، اتخذت أرمينيا خطوات ملموسة لتنفيذ التزاماتها من خلال تحقيق عدد من الإصلاحات القانونية والمؤسسية الرامية إلى تعزيز حماية حقوق الإنسان، ومنها ما يهدف إلى تعزيز حماية حقوق الأشخاص المنتمين إلى الأقليات القومية.

The Committee reiterates its previous concluding observations (CCPR/C/BIH/CO/1, para. 24) that the State party should take necessary measures to give effect to the linguistic and education rights of the Roma as protected under the Law on the Protection of Rights of Persons belonging to national minorities.
تكرر اللجنة تأكيد ملاحظاتها الختامية السابقة (CCPR/C/BIH/CO/1، الفقرة 24) بأنه ينبغي للدولة الطرف أن تتخذ التدابير اللازمة لإنفاذ الحقوق اللغوية والتعليمية للروما بالصيغة التي يحميها بها قانون حماية حقوق الأشخاص المنتمين إلى الأقليات القومية.

17. CoE-CM stated that persons belonging to national minorities, in particular women continued to be disproportionally affected by unemployment; and the proportion of persons belonging to national minorities employed in public services was relatively low, in particular in higher levels of administration.
17- وذكرت لجنة الوزراء التابعة لمجلس أوروبا أن المنتمين إلى الأقليات القومية، ولا سيما النساء، لا يزالون يتأثرون بشكل غير متناسب بالبطالة؛ وأن نسبة المنتمين إلى الأقليات القومية المستخدمين في الدوائر العامة متدنية نسبياً، وبخاصة في مستويات الإدارة العليا(21).

It referred to the concerns expressed by treaty bodies about cases of torture by law enforcement officials in penitentiary institutions and the low number of investigations and convictions in this connection; torture against members of national minorities in detention, and the use of corporal punishment in schools.
وأشارت إلى دواعي القلق التي أعربت عنها هيئات معاهدات بشأن حالات ممارسة موظفي إنفاذ القوانين للتعذيب في مؤسسات السجون وتدني عدد التحقيقات والإدانات بهذا الخصوص؛ وبشأن تعذيب المنتمين إلى الأقليات القومية الموجودين رهن الاحتجاز، واللجوء إلى العقاب البدني في المدارس.

The Act on members of national minorities (No. 273/2001 Coll.) does not permit public administrative bodies to maintain records of members of national minorities.
