The inclusion of immigrants and persons with an immigrant background in all parts of society is one way of combating discrimination.
فإدماج المهاجرين والأشخاص المنحدرين من أصول مهاجرة في جميع شرائح المجتمع من وسائل مكافحة التمييز.

The State party should take measures to eliminate all forms of discrimination in the housing sector and take measure to challenge negative stereotypes and prejudices that landlords and property owners might have against renting accommodation to those with an immigrant background.

The State party should also intensify its efforts to combat discrimination against persons with immigrant backgrounds in employment matters.
كما ينبغي للدولة الطرف أن تكثف جهودها لمكافحة التمييز ضد الأشخاص المنحدرين من أصول مهاجرة في المسائل المتعلقة بالعمل.

The Government of Norway had taken measures to promote the increased participation of persons with immigrant backgrounds in the electoral process.

13. CERD noted with regret that persons of immigrant origin or from ethnic groups were the target of stereotyping and discrimination of all kinds, impeding their integration and advancement at all levels of society.
13- ولاحظت لجنة القضاء على التمييز بأسف أن الأشخاص المنحدرين من أصول مهاجرة أو المنتمين إلى جماعات إثنية يتعرضون للنظرة النمطية والتمييز بجميع أشكاله، ما يحول دون اندماجهم وتقدمهم على جميع مستويات المجتمع(45).

The Committee recommends that the State party pursue its efforts to enable persons of immigrant origin or from ethnic groups, within the meaning of the Convention, to advance in all areas, including by appointing greater numbers of qualified individuals who are members of such groups to positions of authority in the economy and within the State apparatus (arts. 5 and 7).

16. CoE-ECRI reported that both non-citizens and persons of immigrant background were the main targets of racism and racial discrimination in Belgium.
16- وأبلغت اللجنة الأوروبية لمناهضة العنصرية والتعصب أن غير المواطنين والأشخاص المنحدرين من أصول مهاجرة على السواء يتعرضون للعنصرية والتمييز العنصري في بلجيكا(22).

CoE-ECRI recommended that Belgium pursue and step up their efforts to ensure that all children of immigrant background are afforded equal opportunities in access to education.
وأوصت اللجنة بأن تواصل بلجيكا وتكثف جهودها لضمان تمكين جميع الأطفال المنحدرين من أصول مهاجرة من فرص متساوية لتلقي التعليم(124).
