The present report provides information on the operations of the Special Fund established by Article 26 of the Optional Protocol to the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment.

المادة ١٠٨ ١ - يجوز ﻷي من اللجنة أو الفريق العامل المنشأ بموجب المادة ١٠٦ أو المقرر الخاص، بموجب الفقرة ٣ من المادة ١٠٦، أن يطلب، من خلال اﻷمين العام، من الدولة الطرف أو من مقدم البلاغ تقديم معلومات وايضاحات كتابية عن أي ملاحظات تتصل بمسألة مقبولية البلاغ.

4.1 By a letter dated 1 July 1992, the State party notes that the Privy Council in Barbados, which was established under section 76 of the Constitution of Barbados to advise the Governor-General on the exercise of the prerogative of mercy, reviewed the author's case but did not recommend that the death sentence be commuted.
٤-١ تلاحظ الدولة الطرف، برسالة مؤرخة ١ تموز/يوليه ٢٩٩١، أن مجلس الملكية في بربادوس، المنشأ بموجب المادة ٦٧ من دستور بربادوس لتقديم المشورة للحاكم العام بشأن ممارسة حقه في الرأفة، قد أعاد النظر في قضية صاحب البلاغ ولكنه لم يوص بتخفيف عقوبة اﻹعدام.
