Moreover, as provided for in regulation 23 (10), in considering a proposed plan of work for exploration, the Commission is required to have regard to the principles, policies and objectives relating to activities in the Area as provided for in part XI and annex III of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea and the Agreement.

In considering the proposed plan of work for exploration for cobalt-rich ferromanganese crusts, the Commission took into account the principles, policies and objectives relating to activities in the Area as provided for in part XI and annex III of the Convention and in the Agreement relating to the implementation of Part XI of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.

4. In considering the proposed plan of work for exploration for polymetallic sulphides, the Commission took into account the principles, policies and objectives relating to activities in the Area as provided for in part XI and annex III of the Convention and in the Agreement relating to the implementation of Part XI of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea of 10 December 1982.
4 - وعند النظر في خطة العمل المقترحة لاستكشاف الكبريتيدات المتعددة الفلزات، أخذت اللجنة في الاعتبار المبادئ والسياسات والأهداف المتعلقة بالأنشطة في المنطقة على النحو المنصوص عليه في الجزء الحادي عشر والمرفق الثالث من اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لقانون البحار وفي الاتفاق المتعلق بتنفيذ الجزء الحادي عشر من اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لقانون البحار المؤرخ 10 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1982.

(23) The Committee expresses concern at the exception to the principle of non-discrimination provided for under Section 16 (4) of the Constitution regarding the application of personal law, which violates the provisions of the Convention insofar as it affects women of certain ethnic groups because of their religious affiliation (art. 5).
(23) تعرب اللجنة عن قلقها إزاء الاستثناء من مبدأ عدم التمييز المنصوص عليه في الجزء 16(4) من الدستور والمتعلق بتطبيق قانون الأحوال الشخصية، وهو استثناء ينتهك أحكام الاتفاقية كونه يضر بنساء مجموعات إثنية معيَّنة بسبب انتمائهن الديني (المادة 5).

The administration of the detention facility shall be obliged to inform in written a person, chosen by a detained person, about admission of the detained person to the detention facility or his or her transfer from one institution to another no later than within three days, in the case of impossibility for the detained person to exercise the right envisaged by part one of this Article. " .
وتلتزم إدارة مرفق الاحتجاز بأن تبلغ خطياً شخصاً من اختيار الشخص المحتجز بإيداع الشخص المحتجز في مرفق الاحتجاز أو نقله من إحدى المؤسسات إلى مؤسسة أخرى، في موعد أقصاه ثلاثة أيام، في حالة استحالة مباشرة الشخص المحتجز للحق المنصوص عليه في الجزء واحد من هذه المادة " .

This is to be done in accordance with the regime for deep seabed mining established in Part XI and other related provisions of the Convention and in the Agreement relating to the implementation of part XI of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations under the terms of its resolution 48/263 of 28 July 1994.
