3. Training for professionals working with and for children

The Committee is concerned, however, that training for professionals working with and for children is neither multidisciplinary nor systematic and does not include all areas covered by the Optional Protocol.

15. The Committee is further concerned that professionals working with and for children lack knowledge on the provisions of the Optional Protocol.

22. While noting that the Academy for Judges and Prosecutors, established in 2007, offers training on international law, including human rights and the Convention, the Committee is concerned that such training reaches only a very small number of judges and prosecutors and other professionals working with or for children.
