By its resolution 61/252, section IV, paragraph 5, the Assembly decided to appropriate the amount of $2.5 million for the Development Account as an immediate exceptional measure aimed at addressing the lack of transfer of resources to the Account since its inception.

Further, in its resolution 62/238, the Assembly decided to appropriate an additional $2.5 million for the Development Account for the biennium 20082009, while stressing that it was an exceptional measure towards addressing the lack of transfer of resources to the Account since its inception.
كذلك، قررت الجمعية العامة في قرارها 62/238 رصد اعتماد إضافي مقداره 2.5 مليون دولار لحساب التنمية لفترة السنتين 2008-2009، مع تشديدها على كون هذا تدبيرا استثنائيا لمعالجة النقص في تحويل الموارد إلى الحساب منذ إنشائه.

Again, as an immediate exceptional measure to address the non-transfer of resources to the Account since its inception, the Assembly, in its resolution 61/252, also decided to appropriate $2.5 million for the Account in 2006-2007.
