أود الإشارة إلى الرسالتين المؤرختين 10 أيلول/سبتمبر 1999 (A/53/1050-S/1999/971) و30 أيلول/سبتمبر 1999 (A/54/435-S/1999/1023) الموجهتين إليكم من الممثل الدائم للبنان لدى الأمم المتحدة.

I refer to the letters addressed to you from the Permanent Representatives of Syria (A/53/876-S/1999/326) and Lebanon (A/53/878-S/1999/333), both dated 24 March 1999.

Upon instructions from my Government, I have the honour to refer to the letters dated 15 and 20 October 1997 addressed to you by the Greek Cypriot representative at the United Nations which contain allegations regarding " violations of the airspace of the Republic " (A/52/466-S/1997/801 and A/52/508-S/1997/813, respectively).

Upon instructions from my Government, I am writing in response to the letters dated 9 and 15 May 2014 addressed to you by the Greek Cypriot representative in New York and circulated as documents of the Security Council (S/2014/327 and S/2014/352), which yet again contain false assertions similar to those made in his previous letters.

In this context, our countries would like to refer to the letters addressed to you by the Arab Group on 15 and 24 July 2014, as well as to the Arab Group's interventions and comments in this regard during the last meeting of the Open Working Group on Sustainable Development Goals, held from 14 to 19 July 2014, and reaffirm the Arab Group's position on this matter.
وفي هذا السياق، تود بلداننا أن تشير إلى الرسالتين الموجهتين إليكم في 15 و 24 تموز/ يوليه 2014، وكذلك إلى مداخلات المجموعة العربية وتعليقاتها في هذا الصدد أثناء الاجتماع الأخير للفريق العامل المفتوح باب العضوية المعني بأهداف التنمية المستدامة، الذي عُقد في الفترة من 14 إلى 19 تموز/يوليه 2014، وأن تؤكد من جديد موقف المجموعة العربية بشأن هذه المسألة.

In this context, our countries would like to refer to the letters addressed to you by the Arab Group on 15 and 24 July 2014, as well as to the Arab Group's interventions and comments in this regard during the last meeting of the Open Working Group on Sustainable Development Goals, held from 14 to 19 July 2014, and reaffirm the Arab Group's position on this matter.
