The second consolidated report of the Secretary-General on progress in implementation and international support for the New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD) is a welcome document that sheds sufficient light on NEPAD's programmes, activities and developments and that underscores the extent to which African Governments have examined their conditions.
