5.4.1.6.2 If the dangerous goods documentation is presented to the carrier by means of electronic data processing (EDP) or electronic data interchange (EDI) transmission techniques, the signature(s) may be replaced by the name(s) (in capitals) of the person authorized to sign.
5-4-1-6-2 إذا قدم مستند البضائع الخطرة إلى الناقل عن طريق معالجة البيانات الإلكترونية أو أساليب تبادل البيانات الإلكترونية عن طريق الإرسال، يجوز أن يحل محل التوقيع (التوقيعات) اسم الشخص (أسماء الأشخاص) المسموح له (لهم) بالتوقيع، وذلك بحروف كبيرة (بارزة).

CHAPTER 5. LIABILITY OF the carrier for LOSS, DAMAGE OR DELAY

Nothing in this Convention affects the application of any of the following international conventions in force at the time this Convention enters into force, including any future amendment to such conventions, that regulate the liability of the carrier for loss of or damage to the goods:

If the shipper fails to do so and the carrier or performing party does not otherwise have knowledge of their dangerous nature or character, the shipper is liable to the carrier for loss or damage resulting from such failure to inform; and
وإذا لم يفعل الشاحن ذلك ولم يكن الناقل أو الطرف المنفّذ على علم بطبيعتها أو خاصيتها الخطرة من مصدر آخر، كان الشاحن مسؤولا تجاه الناقل عن الخسارة أو الضرر الذي ينجم عن عدم الإبلاغ بذلك؛

The shipper could be liable not only for the damages due to the detention of the vessel but also, on an indemnity basis, to the carrier for any compensation claims made by other shippers of goods on the same vessel.
ويمكن أن يكون الشاحن مسؤولا ليس عن الأضرار الناجمة عن احتجاز السفينة فحسب بل مسؤولا أيضا، على أساس التعويض، تجاه الناقل عن أي مطالب للتعويض يقدمها شاحنو بضائع آخرون على السفينة نفسها.
