In 2004-2005, the subprogramme activities resulted in strengthened capacity of countries with economies in transition in acceding to and implementing of ECE legal instruments, norms and standards; strengthened cooperation among countries in planning and developing coherent pan-European and Euro-Asian networks as well as facilitating international transport in the region.
