The Commission continued to make substantive progress in the elaboration, updating and revision of technical requirements for the international transport of dangerous goods by road and inland waterway, and their harmonization with those concerning transport of such goods by rail, sea and air, and initiated work on the elaboration of a European agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by inland waterway.

Six international legal instruments were brought into line with the United Nations Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, including all major legal instruments governing the international transport of dangerous goods by road, rail, inland waterway, air and sea.
وعدلت ستة صكوك قانونية دولية حتى تتماشى مع توصيات الأمم المتحدة المتعلقة بنقل البضائع الخطرة، وشمل ذلك جميع الصكوك القانونية الرئيسية التي تنظم النقل الدولي للبضائع الخطرة بالطرق البرية والسكك الحديدية وعن طريق الممرات المائية الداخلية وكذلك عن طريق الجو والبحر.
