In this regard, the General Assembly may wish to request the funds and programmes and encourage the specialized agencies and other relevant United Nations entities to develop a strategy by the end of 2014 for the utilization of national systems, based upon targeted assessments of the capacity of national systems in relevant areas, including programme planning, financial management, procurement, statistics, monitoring, evaluation and audit;

In this regard, the General Assembly may wish to request the funds and programmes and encourage the specialized agencies and other entities of the United Nations system, where capacity assessments indicate acceptable systems, to achieve full utilization of national systems for programme implementation in all programme countries by the end of 2016 and to report back biennially on the progress achieved.
وفي هذا الصدد، قد ترغب الجمعية العامة في أن تطلب من الصناديق والبرامج وتشجع الوكالات المتخصصة وغيرها من كيانات الأمم المتحدة على أن تستفيد تماما، حيثما تبين تقييمات القدرات وجود نُظم مقبولة، من النُظم الوطنية في تنفيذ البرامج بجميع البلدان المستفيدة من البرامج، وذلك بحلول نهاية عام 2016، وأن تقدم كل سنتين تقريرا عن التقدم المحرز.

(g) Request the funds and programmes and encourage the specialized agencies and other entities of the United Nations system to expand the use of national systems and, in consultation with national Governments, develop and implement strategies to invest in national systems with a view to their future adoption by the United Nations development system.
(ز) أن تطلب من الصناديق والبرامج وتشجع الوكالات المتخصصة وغيرها من كيانات منظومة الأمم المتحدة على التوسُّع في الاستعانة بالنُظم الوطنية، بالتشاور مع الحكومات الوطنية، وصوغ وتنفيذ استراتيجيات تستهدف الاستثمار في النُظم الوطنية كي يستعين بها مستقبلا جهاز الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي.

The Evidence and Data for Gender Equality initiative, launched in 2011 by, inter alia, UN-Women and the Statistics Division in collaboration with Member States, the World Bank and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), focuses on helping countries to build national capacity and strengthen national systems on data collection in critical areas.
