The task set for this preparatory document is not to provide answers to questions which need further investigation, but to raise a number of issues which can be the subject of further examination and study.

In order to pre-empt a possible organizational delay in the review of the preparatory document by the bench, the Appeals Chamber has coordinated with the Conference and Language Services Section to ensure that the French translation of the Popović et al. trial judgement will be available for the francophone judge on the bench.
