1. All members of the Government's national contingent shall be bound by the United Nations standards of conduct set out in annex H, namely:

7.16 The United Nations agrees to cooperate fully and to share documentation and information with appropriate authorities of the Government, including any National Investigations Officers, who are investigating possible misconduct or serious misconduct by any member of the national contingent of the Government.
7-16 توافق الأمم المتحدة على التعاون الكامل وتبادل الوثائق والمعلومات مع السلطات المختصة التابعة للحكومة، بما في ذلك أي موظفي تحقيقات وطنيين يقومون بالتحقيق في احتمال وقوع سوء سلوك، جسيم أو غيره، من جانب أي من أفراد الوحدة الوطنية التابعة للحكومة.

It is further understood that this exclusive jurisdiction is based on the understanding that the Government will exercise such jurisdiction as might be necessary with respect to crimes or offences committed by members of the Government's national contingent while they are so assigned.
ومن المفهوم كذلك أن هذه الولاية القضائية الحصرية تقوم على أساس أن الحكومة ستمارس هذه الولاية حسب الاقتضاء فيما يتعلق بالجرائم أو الجنح التي يرتكبها أفراد الوحدة الوطنية التابعة للحكومة أثناء فترة التكليف على النحو المذكور.

6. It is understood that the assessment by the Force Commander of the performance of the commander of the Government's national contingent will include, if relevant, a notation regarding his or her cooperation with any United Nations investigation into possible misconduct by any members of the Government's national contingent.

The Government further assures the United Nations that it shall exercise such disciplinary jurisdiction as might be necessary with respect to acts of misconduct committed by any members of the Government's national contingent while they are assigned to the military component of [United Nations peacekeeping mission] that do not amount to crimes or offences.
2 - تؤكد الحكومة كذلك للأمم المتحدة أنها ستمارس تلك الولاية التأديبية حسب الاقتضاء فيما يتعلق بأعمال سوء السلوك التي يرتكبها أي من أعضاء الوحدة الوطنية التابعة للحكومة أثناء فترة تكليفهم بالعمل في العنصر العسكري [لبعثة الأمم المتحدة لحفظ السلام] والتي لا تصل إلى درجة الجريمة أو الجنحة.

2 - تؤكد الحكومة كذلك للأمم المتحدة أنها ستمارس تلك الولاية التأديبية حسب الاقتضاء فيما يتعلق بأي أعمال أخرى تنطوي على سوء السلوك يرتكبها أي من أفراد الوحدة الوطنية التابعة للحكومة أثناء فترة تكليفهم بالعمل في العنصر العسكري [لبعثة الأمم المتحدة لحفظ السلام] والتي لا تصل إلى درجة الجريمة أو الجنحة.

28. In this regard, and pursuant to article 7 quater, paragraph 7.12, of the model memorandum of understanding, the United Nations is required, if it has prima facie grounds indicating that any member of the Government's national contingent has committed an act of misconduct or serious misconduct, to inform the Government of such an occurrence.
