3.7 The author also maintains that the facts described constitute a violation of L.M.R.'s right to life.

Experience shows that a restrained language usually adds to the credibility of the facts presented.

Based on the material before it the Committee considers that the author has not shown sufficient grounds to support his claims that the judicial proceedings in his case have suffered from such defects.

3.1 The author states that the events described constitute a violation of article 10, paragraph 1, of the Covenant, in that she was tortured while held in incommunicado detention on 7, 8 and 9 June 1996.
