Those delegations were of the view that the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space should consider submitting the technical report to the Legal Subcommittee so that it could decide what implications the report might have regarding its work programme.
ورأت تلك الوفود أنه ينبغي للجنة استخدام الفضاء الخارجي في اﻷغراض السلمية أن تنظر في تقديم التقرير التقني الى اللجنة الفرعية القانونية ، كيما تتمكن من البت فيما قد يترتب على التقرير من آثار في برنامج عملها .

128. The Committee took note with satisfaction of the useful and constructive discussion based on two working papers (A/AC.105/C.2/L.182/Rev.2 and A/AC.105/C.2/L.197) submitted to the Legal Subcommittee at its thirty-fourth session in 1995 (A/AC.105/607, annex III/B and C).

2. Mr. REY (Colombia) said that his delegation wished to submit formally to the Legal Subcommittee a proposal on the geostationary satellite orbit which reflected views expressed at the current session of the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space.
٢ - السيد راي )كولومبيا(: قال إن وفد بلده يود أن يقدم رسميا الى اللجنة الفرعية القانونية وثيقة بشأن موضوع مدار السواتل الثابت بالنسبة لﻷرض تأخذ في الاعتبار اﻵراء المبداة أثناء الدورة الحالية للجنة استخدام الفضاء الخارجي في اﻷغراض السلمية.

The discussions that ultimately led to the adoption of the Agreement on the Rescue of Astronauts, the Return of Astronauts and the Return of Objects Launched into Outer Space (the “Rescue Agreement”) began during 1962 with an exchange of letters between the United States and the Soviet Union, following which both countries submitted draft proposals to the Legal Subcommittee for consideration.
٢١ - بدأت المناقشة التي أفضت في نهاية المطاف الى اعتماد اتفاق الانقاذ خلال عام ٢٦٩١ بتبادل للرسائل بين الولايات المتحدة والاتحاد السوفياتي تلاها قيام كلا البلدين بتقديم مشاريع مقترحات الى اللجنة الفرعية القانونية لدراستها .

The Committee noted that a draft questionnaire concerning aerospace objects had been discussed by the Working Group on the basis of an informal paper submitted by its Chairman to the Legal Subcommittee at its thirty-second session, in 1993, and that suggestions had been made for submitting the questionnaire for comments to Member States, to the International Civil Aviation Organization and to the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee.
٥١١ - ولاحظت اللجنة أن الفريق العامل قد ناقش مشروع استبيان بشأن اﻷجسام الفضائية الجوية، استنادا الى ورقة غير رسمية قدمها رئيس الفريق الى اللجنة الفرعية القانونية في دورتها الثانية والثلاثين المعقودة في عام ٣٩٩١، وأنه قد قدمت اقتراحات بشأن إحالة الاستبيان الى الدول اﻷعضاء والى منظمة الطيران المدني الدولي واللجنة الفرعية العلمية والتقنية لتبدي تعليقاتها عليها.

10. In 1996, the delegation of Mexico submitted to the Legal Subcommittee of the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space a proposal for a review of the status of the five international legal instruments governing outer space, with the aim of promoting the universality of outer space law through the implementation of appropriate measures to achieve greater accession by States to the international conventions in force.
٠١ - في عام ٦٩٩١ قدم وفد المكسيك الى اللجنة الفرعية القانونية التابعة للجنة استخدام الفضاء الخارجي في اﻷغراض السلمية اقتراحا لاستعراض وضع الصكوك القانونية الدولية الخمسة التي تحكم شؤون الفضاء الخارجي ، وذلك بهدف تعزيز الطابع العالمي الذي يتسم به قانون الفضاء الخارجي ، من خلال اتخاذ تدابير ملائمة ترمي الى زيادة عدد الدول المنضمة الى الاتفاقيات الدولية السارية .

181. The Committee also agreed to request the Legal Subcommittee to review, at its thirty-fifth session, in 1996, its requirement for summary records with a view to determining whether it might be possible to utilize unedited transcripts at its subsequent sessions and to consider under what circumstances there might be a need to revert to summary records should a decision be taken to utilize unedited transcripts.
١٨١ - واتفقت اللجنة أيضا على أن تطلب الى اللجنة الفرعية القانونية أن تعيد النظر، أثناء دورتها الخامسة والثلاثين عام ١٩٩٦، في مدى حاجتها الى محاضر موجزة، بهدف البت فيما إذا كان يمكنها استخدام محاضر غير منقحة في دوراتها اللاحقة، وأن تنظر في الظروف التي قد تنشأ معها حاجة الى معاودة استخدام المحاضر الموجزة، إذا ما تقرر استخدام المحاضر غير المنقحة.
