3. By paragraph 17 of resolution 53/102, the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to prepare and distribute a topical summary of the debate held on the Commission’s report at the fifty-third session of the Assembly.

In that connection, Mongolia welcomed the Economic and Social Council's decision to request the Secretary-General to prepare a report, in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), on all aspects of new and innovative ideas for generating funds to meet globally agreed commitments and priorities.

3. To further its consideration of the above proposals, the General Assembly, in its resolution 48/214, requested the Secretary-General to prepare background documents for intensive consultation involving concerned and interested States together with relevant financial institutions and United Nations organizations.

Requests the Secretary-General to elaborate, in consultation with Member States, for submission to the Commission, model legislation to assist Member States in giving effect to the Model Treaty on Extradition, in order to enhance effective cooperation between States, taking into account the elements contained in annex II to the present resolution;
٤ - تطلب الى اﻷمين العام أن يعد ، بالتشاور مع الدول اﻷعضاء ، بغرض عرضها على اللجنة تشريعات نموذجية لمساعدة الدول اﻷعضاء في إعمال المعاهدة النموذجية بشأن تسليم المجرمين من أجل تعزيز التعاون الفعلي بين الدول ، آخذا في الاعتبار العناصر الواردة في المرفق الثاني من هذا القرار ؛
