The African Union High-level Implementation Panel, under the leadership of President Thabo Mbeki, convened a second extraordinary meeting of the Joint Political and Security Mechanism, to begin on 30 March and to be held at the level of the two countries' Defence Ministers.
ولقد دعا فريق التنفيذ الرفيع المستوى التابع للاتحاد الأفريقي بقيادة الرئيس ثابو امبيكي إلى اجتماع استثنائي ثان للآلية السياسية والأمنية المشتركة يبدأ في 30 آذار/مارس ويُعقَد على مستوى وزيري دفاع البلدين.

With regard to the situation in Southern Kordofan, Mr. Mbeki informed Council members that negotiations with the representatives of that region and of the Sudan would start on 21 June 2011 in Addis Ababa under the auspices of the African Union panel and the Special Representative of the Secretary-General.
وفيما يتعلق بالوضع في جنوب كردفان، أبلغ السيد امبيكي أعضاء المجلس أن المفاوضات مع ممثلي تلك المنطقة ومع ممثلي السودان ستبدأ في 21 حزيران/يونيه 2011 في أديس أبابا تحت رعاية لجنة الاتحاد الأفريقي والممثل الخاص للأمين العام.
