نود أن نعرب لكم، سيدي، عن تهانئنا المخلصة بمناسبة انتخابكم لتولي رئاسة هذه الدورة للجمعية العامة.

As I come towards the end of my statement, I wish to extend to you, Sir, my hearty congratulations on your election to the high office of President of the General Assembly at a time when the United Nations is passing through a very important phase in its history.
وإذ أصل الى نهاية بياني تقريبا، أود أن أتقدم اليكم، سيدي، بتحياتي القلبية على انتخابكم لتولي منصب رئيس الجمعية العامة الرفيع، في الوقت الذي تمر اﻷمم المتحدة في مرحلة هامة جدا من تاريخها.
