14. As part of the regional peace process, an IGADD Subcommittee on Humanitarian Affairs was formed to facilitate United Nations efforts to ensure safe access for the delivery of humanitarian assistance to all affected areas in southern Sudan.
١٤ - وكجزء من عملية السلام الاقليمية، قامت ايغاد بانشاء لجنة فرعية معنية بالشؤون الانسانية لتيسير جهود اﻷمم المتحدة الرامية إلى ضمان الوصول المأمون من أجل تسليم المساعدة الانسانية إلى جميع المناطق المتأثرة في جنوب السودان.

In this connection, it is fully backing the diplomatic efforts being made under the aegis of the Intergovernmental Authority for Drought and Development (IGADD) by the four heads of State in the region.
وفي هذا الصدد، يدعم دعما كاملا الجهود الدبلوماسية التي يبذلها رؤساء الدول اﻷربع في المنطقة تحت رعاية الهيئة الحكومية الدولية لمكافحة الجفاف وتحقيق التنمية )ايغاد(.

In this context, however, we cannot forget the critical role of States members of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), the African Union, the IGAD Partners Forum, the European Union, the Arab League and the United Nations in providing support and encouragement for the Somali national reconciliation process that took place in Kenya for almost three years.
على أنه لا يمكننا أن ننسى، في هذا السياق، الدور الحاسم الذي أدته الدول الأعضاء في الهيئة الحكومية الدولية المعنية بالتنمية (ايغاد) والاتحاد الأفريقي ومنتدى شركاء ايغاد والاتحاد الأوروبي وجامعة الدول العربية والأمم المتحدة، في تقديم الدعم والتشجيع لعملية المصالحة الوطنية في الصومال، التي تمت في كينيا، واستغرقت ثلاث سنوات تقريبا.
