With the amendment agreed, the draft decision entitled “Mobilization of financial resources for UNIDO programmes—unutilized balances of appropriations for 1992-1993 and 1996-1997” was adopted for recommendation to the plenary.

Since sufficient cash resources were not made available to finance the 1998 staff separation programme, the Industrial Development Board recommended to the General Conference the temporary suspension (until the eighth session of the Conference) of the distribution of $1,194,924 of the unutilized balances for the 1992-1993 biennium to partially finance the staff separation programme (GC.8/17, para. 17).
٧ - ونظرا لعدم توفر موارد نقدية كافية لتمويل برنامج انهاء خدمة الموظفين لسنة ٨٩٩١ ، فقد أوصى مجلس التنمية الصناعية المؤتمر العام بأن يوقف مؤقتا )الى حين انعقاد دورة المؤتمر العام الثامنة( توزيع مبلغ قدره ٤٢٩ ٤٩١ ١ دولارا من اﻷرصدة غير المستغلة لفترة السنتين ٢٩٩١-٣٩٩١ من أجل تمويل جزء من برنامج انهاء خدمة الموظفين )GC.8/17 ، الفقرة ٧١( .

11. In January 2004, further unencumbered balances relating to the bienniums 1992-1993, 1996-1997, 1998-1999 and 2000-2001 amounting to Euro4,367,691 were distributed to eligible Member States.
11- وفي كانون الثاني/يناير 2004، وُزعت حصص أخرى من الأرصدة غير المستغلة المتعلقة بفترات السنتين 1992-199٣ و1996-1997 و1998-1999 و2000-2001، بلغ حجمها 691 ٣67 4 يورو، على الدول الأعضاء المستحقة.

6. After determining the level of unencumbered balances for the fiscal period, the amount actually received in cash becomes due for adjustment to the Member States that have fully paid their contributions for the respective biennium, in proportion to their scale of assessment.
6- وبعد تحديد حجم الأرصدة غير المستغلة في الفترة المالية، يُصبح المبلغ النقدي المتّلقى بالفعل مستحقاً للتوزيع على الدول الأعضاء التي سددت كامل اشتراكاتها عن فترة السنتين المعنية، بما يتناسب مع أنصبتها.
