Recalling also the principles and objectives for nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament adopted at the 1995 Review and Extension Conference of the Parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons,26 and in particular the objective of determined pursuit by the nuclear-weapon States of systematic and progressive efforts to reduce nuclear weapons globally, with the ultimate goal of eliminating those weapons,
وإذ تشير أيضا إلى مبادئ وأهداف عدم انتشار اﻷسلحة النووية التي اعتمدها مؤتمر اﻷطراف في معاهدة عدم انتشار اﻷسلحة النووية لاستعراض المعاهدة وتمديدها، لعام ١٩٩٥)٢٦(، ولا سيما الهــدف المتمثل في المتابعة المتسمة بالتصميم، من جانب الدول الحائزة لﻷسلحة النووية، للجهود المنتظمة والتدريجية الرامية إلى تخفيض اﻷسلحة النووية على نطاق عالمي ويكون هدفها النهائي إزالة تلك اﻷسلحة،
