We believe that the time has come for the Conference on Disarmament to establish a special committee for negotiations on a programme of nuclear disarmament and the ultimate elimination of all nuclear weapons within a definite time-frame.
ونعتقد أن اﻷوان قد آن لمؤتمر نزع السلاح لكي ينشئ لجنة خاصة للتفاوض بشأن برنامج لنزع السلاح النووي وإزالة جميع اﻷسلحة النووية في نهاية المطاف ضمن إطار زمني محدد.

It is therefore only logical, appropriate and timely that the Conference on Disarmament should establish, on a priority basis, an ad hoc committee on nuclear disarmament to commence negotiations early in 1997 on a phased programme of nuclear disarmament and for the eventual elimination of nuclear weapons within a time-bound framework through a nuclear weapons convention.
لذلك من المنطقي والمناسب ومما هو في أوانه أن ينشئ مؤتمر نزع السلاح، على سبيل اﻷولوية، لجنة مخصصة لنزع السلاح النووي لبدء المفاوضات في أوائل عام ١٩٩٧ بشأن برنامج مرحلي لنزع السلاح النووي وإزالة اﻷسلحة النووية في نهاية المطاف ضمن إطار زمني محدد عن طريق اتفاقية لﻷسلحة النووية.

Recalling its resolution 50/70 P of 12 December 1995, in which it called upon the Conference on Disarmament to establish an ad hoc committee on nuclear disarmament to commence negotiations on a phased programme of nuclear disarmament and for the eventual elimination of nuclear weapons within a time-bound framework,
وإذ تشير إلى قرارها ٥٠/٧٠ عين المؤرخ ١٢ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٥، الذي طلبت فيه إلى مؤتمر نزع السلاح أن ينشئ لجنة مخصصة لنزع السلاح النووي وﻹزالة اﻷسلحة النووية في نهاية المطاف ضمن إطار زمني محدد،

The Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty was also welcomed as a historic step toward the ultimate elimination of nuclear weapons.

In order to comply with this imperative obligation, Mexico last year sponsored resolution 50/70 P, in which the General Assembly, for the first time, called for the negotiation of a phased programme of nuclear disarmament leading to the eventual elimination of nuclear weapons within a time-bound framework.
وامتثالا مـــن المكسيك لهذا الالتزام الملح، فقد تبنت في العـــام الماضي القرار ٥٠/٧٠ عين، الذي طلبت فيه الجمعية العامة، للمرة اﻷولى، الشروع في مفاوضات بشأن برنامج على مراحل لنزع السلاح النووي يفضي إلى القضاء على اﻷسلحة النووية في نهاية المطاف ضمن إطار زمني محدد.

We also deem positive the reference in the seventh preambular paragraph to such an international agreement leading to the ultimate destruction of nuclear weapons.
كما أننا نعتبره أمرا إيجابيا الإشارة في الفقرة السابعة من الديباجة إلى أن التوصل إلى مثل هذا الاتفاق الدولي يؤدي إلى تدمير الأسلحة النووية في نهاية المطاف.

This applies all the more for the member States of the NPT, which, in renouncing the nuclear option and accepting the burden of verification of their obligations, did so bearing in mind the commitments made by the nuclear States to cut their arsenals with the ultimate objective of a denuclearized world.
وينطبق هذا من باب أولى على الدول الأعضاء في معاهدة عدم الانتشار التي وضعت، بنبذها الخيار النووي وقبولها لعبء التحقق من التزاماتها، في اعتبارها الالتزامات التي قطعتها الدول الحائزة للأسلحة النووية على نفسها بتخفيض ترساناتها النووية بهدف إيجاد عالم خال من الأسلحة النووية في نهاية المطاف.

The delegation of the Democratic People's Republic reiterates its principled position that it will make every possible effort to achieve the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula and promote global nuclear disarmament and the ultimate elimination of nuclear weapons.
ويؤكد وفد بلادي مجددا موقفه المبدئي المتمثل في بذل كل جهد ممكن للتوصل إلى إخلاء شبه الجزيرة الكورية من الأسلحة النووية وتعزيز نزع السلاح النووي العالمي والقضاء على الأسلحة النووية في نهاية المطاف.
