١ - يقدم التقرير السنوي لﻷمين العام عن تكوين اﻷمانة العامة وفقا لعدد من قرارات الجمعية العامة، آخرها القراران ٤٥/٢٣٩ ألف المؤرخ ٢١ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٠ و ٤٧/٢٢٦ المؤرخ ٨ نيسان/أبريل ١٩٩٣.

For the United Nations, the Secretary-General continues to report annually on the composition of the Secretariat, in accordance with requests made by the General Assembly in its resolutions on human resources management.

2. Welcomes the endorsement by that Meeting of the criteria and procedures for the affiliation with the United Nations of institutes or centres and the establishment of United Nations subregional institutes in the field of crime prevention and criminal justice, developed by the Secretariat in pursuance of Economic and Social Council resolution 1992/22, section IV, of 30 July 1992;
٢ - يرحب بتصديق ذلك الاجتماع على مشروع معايير واجراءات لانتساب المعاهد أو المراكز الى اﻷمم المتحدة وانشاء معاهد دون اقليمية تابعة لﻷمم المتحدة في ميدان منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية، وهو المشروع الذي وضعته اﻷمانة العامة وفقا للجزء الرابع من قرار المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي ٢٩٩١/٢٢، المؤرخ ٠٣ تموز/يوليه ٢٩٩١؛

During the reporting period, four submissions under article 8 of the Optional Protocol requesting inquiries were received by the Committee and registered by the Secretariat pursuant to the Rules of Procedure of the Committee.
